The eSkootr Championship™ (eSC) has confirmed SICK! Series Racing as the latest team to join the 2022 line-up.

SICK! Series is the clothing brand created by Austrian mountain biker, Fabio Wibmer. Best known for his viral video edits, Fabio has over 7 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, with more than a billion views.

The Red Bull sponsored athlete will be SICK! Series Racing Team Owner and will play a major role in the promotion of his eSC team.

As a big racing fan of all things on 2 and 4 wheels, Fabio is keen to see the series reach a large audience with high energy, action-packed competition, with engaging and informative creative content. He will work with eSC to showcase the elbow-to-elbow racing and to help demonstrate the positive impact eSkootrs can have on the development of city escooters and everyday micromobility.

Fabio Wibmer said:
“I am passionate about creating engaging and compelling content that offers viewers something different and pushes boundaries. The racing is completely new and I’m excited to see the series evolve over the coming seasons. The Championship’s fan-first focus and forward-thinking plans for the viewing experience are why it’s so great to be part of this new sport.

“Launching SICK! Series Racing is also an incredibly proud moment for me and seeing our team riders and crew wearing the logo in an international series will be extremely special and really different.”

Khalil Beschir, eSkootr Championship™ Co-founder and COO, added:
“Fabio is one of the world’s leading sports content creators. It is incredibly impressive how he has established such a strong and engaged following through his creative and innovative videography, and we are excited to work with him as we build eSC’s fanbase.

“SICK! Series Racing will be an extension of his SICK! Series clothing brand, and will join our nine other teams for the first race at Printworks London on 13/14 May.”
